Thank you for taking the time to recommend your student for Kids’ Club. It is our desire that your students will demonstrate improvements in every area as they participate at Kids’ Club.
In order to qualify for our program, recommended students must meet at least 3 of the criteria listed on the Recommendation Form.
Any Recommendation Forms received that exceed the number of open positions will be placed on a waiting list.
HOW TO RECOMMEND A STUDENT (For School Personnel Only)
Before a student can be recommended, Parents must sign a “Parent Permission for Recommendation” Form and submit to recommending school personnel. Form is available in English or Spanish. (This step applies to NBISD ONLY)
Obtain a Recommendation Form from your principal or your school’s Kids’ Club contact or request one by contacting the Kids’ Club office at (830) 626-7762.

A Kids’ Club Staff member will be in contact with the family and offer a scholarship position for the program. If no current positions are available, that student will be placed on a waiting list. You will be notified of the student’s status.
If a family accepts the scholarship, the family must complete and submit a Registration Form to Kids’ Club.
NOTE: A student’s position at Kids’ Club is not guaranteed until registration is complete. A student may not ride the Kids’ Club bus or participate in the Kids’ Club Program until the registration process is complete.
Kids’ Club Staff will notify you when registration is complete and the student may begin at Kids’ Club.
Once a student begins, open communication with Kids’ Club is necessary for Kids’ Club to meet the needs of your student.
Kids’ Club Communication Folders are provided for you to communicate directly with our volunteers for homework assignments to be completed at Kids’ Club. Volunteers will also sign and document what the student has completed during the one-hour homework time.
